Thekerani, Malawi medical works.

I designed, tendered, and managed the construction of multiple medical facilities in Malawi for the purposes of bolstering the Ministry of Health's medical program. Here are three new residences intended for incoming medical staff, as an inducement to relocate to the rural setting. Adjacent is the the Thekerani medical complex. Most materials were gathered locally and the bricks were made by hand, on site using a earth brick hand press machine. Upgrade also included the introduction of water supply/waste systems, as well as new underground electrical cabling coupled with solar power and emergency electrical generation systems.
